1. #ClientMomAndDad’s New Kitchen
I’m not surprised. Actually, I wrote two posts on this kitchen: part 1 was all about the cabinets, and part 2 covered the other details.
Those two posts both were huge fan favorites, and I couldn’t be more pleased. You see, my parents retired and moved (close to our ranch house!), and I had the privilege of designing their renovation. We basically took the home to the studs and started over to create this beautiful space; you won’t believe what it used to look like!
DIY and Decorating Trends for 2022
Every year I can see the popular trends with repeat related posts, and this year was no exception: marble bathrooms came in twice. Add the consistent win of a gorgeous kitchen, and you’ve got an all-round beautiful, elegant combination.
But if big budget renovations aren’t in the cards for you in 2022, you aren’t alone. White paints were #2 and #3, and a fresh coat of paint is one of the easiest and most affordable makeovers for your home. Even better, I love that in a world of high-end, full-scale renovations, furniture flips from cheap thrifted finds are still in the top 10.
