I love a good bathroom renovation. Updating a bathroom can be so dramatic and rewarding! Whether you are tackling a DIY bathroom remodel or hiring out the project, a major focal point of any bathroom is the bathroom vanity and sink area.

When I recently shared the bathroom design plans for a classic black and white bathroom, I got many questions regarding the vanity I chose. So I decided to gather up some more beautiful painted vanity options for you.

Bathroom Renovation Budget Considerations

One cost-effective option for bathroom renovation is to paint your existing cabinetry with a coat of paint and install new countertops and hardware for a bathroom vanity makeover. But what if the existing cabinetry cannot be salvaged? Or what if there was no existing bathroom cabinetry?

While the cost of freestanding prefabricated vanities can range widely, they can be found at significantly less than the cost of custom cabinetry and countertops. So they are a beautiful and cost-effective option for bathroom renovations.

Plus, with real marble or quartz countertops and sinks already installed, they provide a high-end tailored look, making these vanities a wise home improvement investment.

Vanity Options

Painted vanities offer wonderful opportunities to mix styles. Try gold hardware on navy bathroom vanities as you see below. Or black hardware on soft, dove gray bathroom vanities.

Mix matte brushed gold with bright semi gloss black bathroom vanities. Or polished nickel with a matte charcoal vanity cabinet. So many beautiful options!

While bathroom cabinets could technically come in millions of paint colors, I restricted my search to three main colors: black, gray, and blue.

I’ve worked hard to gather a variety of standard sizes and price points. I’ve gathered at least one 36 inch bathroom vanity, multiple 48 inch bathroom vanities, 60 in vanities, and many other sizes. I have some single sink and some double sink vanities. Plus, many of the ones listed below have multiple size options to choose from.
