Heart French Toast Valentines Breakfast
Heart French toast bites make the perfect Valentine’s breakfast! This easy Valentine’s recipe makes adorable heart shaped toast bites with rich vanilla flavors and a cinnamon and sugar topping.
I don’t generally make a big to do for Valentine’s Day, but these heart french toast bites are so easy and make the perfect Valentine’s breakfast or snack… So I’m excited to share them as part of the Style + Set Entertaining series with Designthusiasm. If you’re just dropping by from Celebrating Everyday Life, welcome! Jennifer is an absolute rockstar, and I’m thrilled to have her readers visiting today.
When preparing this recipe for you, I served them to my kids as a “surprise snack” (free tip: insert the word surprise before almost anything and suddenly it becomes way more fun). Not only did they devour them (and ask for more, naturally), but my seven year old actually turned to me and said, “Mom, I really like these because they’re super yummy and fun, but even more because it shows us you love us.”
I can’t even make these things up! If it had been a Hallmark movie, I’d have rolled my eyes, but he was so incredibly sincere, and I was so very touched (though I confess I had to hide the cynical chortle 😉 ). Seriously, though, it was so easy and I would do it every day if it truly made him feel that way… and if they were slightly healthier. Ha!
They are super easy, though, and here’s a quick video to prove it:
How easy was that? By the way, if you enjoyed the video, I’d love for you to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more!
And if you’d like to show someone that you really love them 😉 , try your hand at these little french toast bites. Technically, they could be any shape, but I couldn’t resist the little hearts for Valentine’s Day. Serve them with a heart-shaped egg in the hole for a really well-rounded breakfast or cut a whole loaf of bread the night before and whip these up in about 2 minutes on they day of… Such an easy crowd pleaser!
