Moving out to “the wilderness” as my boys call it (which, for the record, simply means about an acre a mere 20 minutes from downtown…) has me thoroughly enjoying nature. And it’s with this natural inspiration around me that I’m starting my Christmas decorating with a simple white and green front porch.
I know it’s a tad early for Christmas decorations, but since we are not hosting Thanksgiving this year, I decided we should start early and enjoy it for longer.
Plus, it’s so fun to have a new space to decorate. 😉
A few clippings from the yard and white candles I had on hand…
And some new artificial decorations from At Home.
With their everyday low prices, I feel that I was able to get the simple but dramatic effect without spending a fortune. And it was so incredibly easy: three nails and a wreath hanger and my At Home Christmas decor was all ready to go.
Which, of course, saves me more time for the tree (remember my Tree for Me?), a few fun diy Christmas projects I have come up, and – most importantly – celebrating this beautiful season with my family.
The white details on the garland bring an elegance to the porch.
And the pre-lit wreath and tree give our home a magical touch in the evenings.
It’s even better than I had pictured in my head, and I love that it was so affordable and easy.
So check out your local At Home for Christmas trees and decor, and no matter how busy things get… Enjoy this beautiful season.
