White and Wood (and what to get Daddy for Father’s Day)

If you’ve been following me for a while any time at all, it’s no secret that I love light neutral colors and wood tones.
You can see it all over my house: in my new kitchen…
Our planked attic…
And our master bedroom, just to mention a few…
And for our next house, I’m imagining even more: high white ceilings, light gray walls, tons of natural light, and some gorgeous new wood floors (I really cannot wait to show you all!). But while I wait for closings to take place and boxes to pack themselves ( 😉 ), I’ve been thinking about incorporating that same style into more areas of my life.
If filling my home with beautiful things makes me smile, why not take them with me, too? It helps that my obsession with white and wood is perfect for summer…

And it’s convenient that Mr. Pax and I have similar styles.

Speaking of Mr. Pax, I’m very happy to say that I’ve found his Father’s Day present (don’t tell him, though!). This watch is just gorgeous…
And I love the casual yet sophisticated look of the wood (yes, real wood… and just beautiful!).
I’m happy to say that my little hand model was just thrilled that he got to wear Daddy’s watch, even for just a few minutes. 😉
I suggested in my series on choosing paint colors that you look in your closet to get an idea of what paint colors might work for you… Now I’m suggesting the opposite: if you know what you love in your home, find a way to incorporate that into your wardrobe.
For me, that means whites and wood tones, and JORD wood watches offer just that. How about you? What do you love in your home that you could incorporate in your wardrobe?
Disclosure: Thank you to JORD for providing these gorgeous watches! All text, opinions, and obsessions with white and wood tones are my own. You can read my full disclosure policy here.

Thank you, Marlene! I had never seen one either, but I’m SO enjoying it. 🙂 And thanks for the encouragement… it’s not going as fast as I’d like, but we’ll get it done. 😉

I love all your paint colors in your home. We are about to paint about all the rooms in our home. Can you please share all the beautiful colors you used? Many thanks, Joy
Thank you, Joy! We have actually moved to a new home, but here’s a quick rundown on colors in that home. Maybe I need to do a round up post on it… They are all made by Sherwin Williams. Entry/living/dining: Barcelona Beige, Downstairs office: Dorian Gray, Kitchen/laundry: Colonnade Gray, Playroom/Sunroom: Aesthetic White, Boys’ room: Silvermist, Nursery: Agreeable Gray, Master: Aesthetic White, Master Bath: Krypton, Attic: extra white (straight off the shelf, not tinted). I hope this helps!
