Kitchen Gift Ideas
Everyone has to eat, amiright? First of all, I love gifts that provide a pretty spin on something totally useful, especially at these fabulous price points: brass measuring cups and a copper handled spatula are adorable and practical!
And whether they are an amateur chef or see cooking as a necessary evil, these kitchen accessories and gadgets can be lifesavers. I adore the modern look of our white keurig (and who couldn’t use more convenient coffee??).
The egg cooker was a Mr. Pax purchase recently, and I honestly thought I would hate having one more thing in my kitchen… but it is SO easy to cook up eggs in a variety of ways; it’s making our move away from wheat so much easier! I couldn’t recommend it more highly. And last but not least, the pressure cooker (and in white?!) is a must-have. You can read my full review of ours in this post.
Now for the true food and kitchen lover, you can never go wrong with a dutch oven. These things are lifelong pass-down-to-your-kids kind of quality… and they come in so many pretty colors!
Home Decor Gift Ideas
Like I said, everyone lives somewhere, and it’s so fun to help them make that space more welcoming and cozy. And is there anything more quintessentially cozy than knitting?! We Are Knitters offers beautiful blanket kits with full instructions so your giftee can make their own. I made some last year (read all about it here), and I gave a scarf kit to a friend (who LOVED it!). They even have the extra giant arm-knit blanket kits!! For the DIY-er or wanna be DIY-er on your list, these are perfect.
Want to go really bold? It may seem random, but I have actually bought rugs for family members for gifts, and they are always a huge hit. I think there are a lot of people who feel like a rug is a luxury but not a necessity for their space, and this is such a fun way to gift them that little luxury in life. And this vintage mostly-neutral rug is so very fabulous, isn’t it? I’ve also had incredible success with true vintage Persian rugs (like the one in my kitchen) on ebay, so if you need a particular color or size, try there, too.
And sometimes it’s fun to give something that is purely aesthetic, right? This magnolia wreath for the more traditional giftee or this fiddle leaf fig for the more modern… And (if you saw my gift guide for her this year, you know I am WAY into copper) this copper clock is so fun for anyone!
