Simple Spring Patio
A simple spring patio inspired by spring outdoor decorating
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of At Home. All opinions are 100% mine.
This is our first spring since we moved into our new house in the Texas hill country, and I couldn’t be more excited. Crisp, cool mornings; warm, sunny afternoons; breezy evenings with stunning sunsets… And did I mention we have views of the hills from both our front and back porches? But this is where I spend the most time.
Why?! Because of three very energetic little angels.
Don’t get me wrong, I would love to relax on my back porch or sit by the pool all day (and don’t worry, by the summer time when it’s warm enough to swim, that’s where we’ll all be much of the time), but there’s something about kids that doesn’t agree with an afternoon of lounging.
The driveway is where it’s at.
Four square, bikes, sidewalk chalk, and more… And while the little arbor by the driveway really is a lovely place to sit (when the kids let me sit down, that is), it needed a little TLC for sure. So I headed to At Home. Let’s just say a few things jumped into my basket.
Seriously, it all started with these navy and white awning striped pillows from the At Home Patio section…
And I couldn’t resist a few solar lanterns from the Outdoor Decor Collections either, which I decided to hang for fun.
A little side table from Outdoor Entertaining…
And this beautiful glazed pot finished the scene.
Now I have a perfect place to relax try to sit down while kids climb all over me.
I wouldn’t call it a giant makeover, but definitely a simple improvement.
And while it may not be a “view” you would write home about, I can’t think of anything I’d rather watch.
seriously? i am sure that rusted metal gazebo(?) closed the deal for you!! that is where you will find me too if it was my home.yo have made it your own. inspiring piece of real estate.
Your little one looks just like you. Cute!! Plus the project turned out perfect!
