World's Easiest {and Yummiest!} Blackberry Cobbler


  • 4 c frozen blackberries or other frozen fruit
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c flour
  • 6 T melted butter


  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Grease 8"x8" baking pan or 8 1/2 pint mason jars.
  3. Mix fruit, lemon juice, and vanilla in baking pan/jars.
  4. In a bowl, mix egg, sugar, and flour into a course meal.
  5. Cover fruit with mixture.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over all.
  7. Bake 30 min for mason jars or 45 for 8x8 pan (until a little brown).

Recipe Notes

1/2 pint mason jars are perfect for individual servings. Plus, there's just enough room above the cooked cobbler to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream before you serve. Delicious and adorable!
