Simple Elegant Easter Tablescape

This elegant Easter tablescape brings a lovely simplicity to your Easter celebration.

Maybe it is the fact that our Valentine’s Day was given over to sick kids, or perhaps it’s because Easter is – in a way – the culmination of the greatest love story in the world… but when I set out to create some Easter table inspiration for you this year, the result had a rather romantic effect.

I set out to make this table with one goal: to create something simple and lovely. Things have been a little crazy at our home (weeks… and I mean weeks of one sickness after another, unexpected silly things like flat tires and lost jackets, family members having surgery – you name it, it’s been happening here!). And when I thought of designing a table for Easter, I felt a desperate need for peace.

As you know if you’ve followed me for a while, I think peace doesn’t always look calm or quiet. Peace sometimes comes in the form of belly laughs and costumes and chaos…

but a little quiet peace is nice from time to time, too.

And while it may not involve eggs, or bunnies, or even traditional spring flowers…

I think peace is about as definitive of Easter as you can get.

So I kept it super simple with my favorite vase (similar), grocery store flowers and greens, my grandmother’s china, and my favorite flatware (similar).

I added some candlesticks that I got from Magnolia Market last year

And moved my (similar) into the corner (the fiddle leaf fig had to be moved upstairs as baby is into eating the dirt right now)…

And that’s it. I decided to embrace the beauty of simplicity.

Are you needing peace, too? I pray you find some this Easter and always, friend.

I’d love for you to pin this if you enjoyed it.

  1. Lovely, its so pretty. Just looking at it allows me to take a long, deep breath! Everyone needs that kind of peace in their lives at some point. (On a side note, your hair looks INCREDIBLE!! That style really suits you!)

  2. Goal accomplished, Rachel! If I had to describe your table without reading your post, I would have said simple and lovely!! It really imparts of feeling of tranquility while being quite special. Well done!

  3. Hi Rachel.
I think this is lovely and I love the simplicity. Although I enjoy looking at the fancy tables people come up with, I would much rather eat at a plainer table setting. I don’t like to have to look over or around flowers and things to see my table companions. This is a breath of fresh air!
