Happy Day!

Below you can access four free presets: two formatted for desktop and two for mobile. Be sure to follow the directions for downloading!
And if you love these, check out the other Pax Presets available.

Note: these are strictly for your own benefit and cannot be shared, sold, or distributed in any form… thanks for keeping these to yourself!

HOW TO INSTALL DESKTOP PRESETS

These instructions are for installation of presets into Lightroom Classic, a desktop or laptop program, which you can purchase outright or use with an Adobe Creative Cloud account. See my photography resources to learn more about Adobe CC and why I recommend it for photo editing. Note: if you are having trouble with the .XMP files, you may need to update your Lightroom Classic.

STEP 1:
Download your presets via the link below and upzip the folder. Save the .XMP files to your desktop.

STEP 2:
Open up your Lightroom software on your computer and click on the “Develop” module in the top right toolbar. Then, click the + sign next to “Presets” in the left side toolbar. Click “Import Presets.”

STEP 3:
Navigate to your desktop and choose the first .XMP file to import. The preset should automatically appear in your preset list in Lightroom.

STEP 4:
Repeat for each preset.

HOW TO INSTALL MOBILE PRESETS

These instructions are for installation of presets into Lightroom Mobile, a free mobile app. For more tips on mobile photography, visit this post.

STEP 1:
Download your presets via the link below. Save the .DNG files (save image) to your mobile device. You can do this by opening the files on your desktop/laptop and sending them to your mobile device using Airdrop, Dropbox, or iCloud. Or you can open this page on your mobile device and download your presets directly to your mobile device, but you will need to download an app on your mobile device to unzip the file to install your presets.  Unzip works well for the job.

STEP 2:
Open the Lightroom Mobile app on your mobile device and click on the books icon in the top left corner. Then, click the “create an album” button (or + sign) in the albums section below. Title the new album “Pax Presets.”

STEP 3:
Click on the new album to open it. Then tap the blue button (add image/file) and select the .DNG file from your camera roll that you sent to your phone/tablet in step 1. (Repeat this step for each preset.)

STEP 4:
Click on the added image, then tap the “…” icon in the top right corner and click “create preset” from the list. On the next screen, name your preset. (Repeat this step for each preset. You can group your Pax Presets in a folder to keep them organized if you like.)
