I had every intention of sharing this room reveal back in early May, but our delayed bathroom renovations kept this room taped off longer than I expected.
I’m thrilled to say, though, that I did manage to get the blush nursery ready just in time for sweet Rosalind (aka Baby Rosie) who was born at the end of May.
It only took me six weeks to photograph it and share it with you… I’m claiming grace. 😉
Actually, I have one more project planned, which I was hoping to finish before I shared the full room, but I’m realizing that my new normal with four little ones at home may make that a very slow process… So here is the almost full room reveal. 😉

I knew I wanted mostly neutrals with lots of texture. I started with this amazing rug from World Market (which they were kind enough to provide!). I cannot even describe how soft and luscious this rug is… Seriously, I’m in love. I kind of want to put it in every room in my house.

The ruffled curtains I made years ago (and then converted into blackout curtains) were perfect for the space, and I hung them from the copper curtain rod I made.
I then used the rest of my copper pipe to make this gorgeous pendant. If you read the tutorial, you know that I started with a copper basket, but I’ve already switched it to this woven one.
I wanted a touch more texture in the space (and don’t worry, I found another use for the copper one)… And the effect the light has on the room at night is simply magical. With the dimmer switch I used, it is simply the perfect element for nighttime feedings.
As promised, the copper basket found another use.

I ordered one of these gorgeous air plants, and it is thriving in its new home.
The chaise and the antique farmhouse dresser are family pieces that were used in my older daughter’s original nursery, as well. I think a chaise is just perfect in a nursery when you don’t want a real bed but you know there might be some snoozing in there from time to time. 😉

The rose botanical print was a diy project, and the tutorial is coming soon.

Of course I couldn’t resist a few special accents for my sweet Baby Rosie.
And we can’t forget the incredible paper flowers on the wall…
Or the free crib I got five years ago and gave an easy makeover…
Or the fabulous tufted rocker that is tall enough to rest my head and close my eyes (and essential quality for a nursery rocker as far as I’m concerned!).

I finished off this side of the room with my diy crib skirt…
And this wonderful woven pouf.
The sunlight streaming in makes this space so incredibly lovely.
My three year old daughter loves to bring her baby dolls in here and play, and finding her with babies in the crib and lying on blankets and being rocked in the rocking chair is simply the sweetest thing. I think it embodies the hope I had for this blush space: beautiful, serene, inviting.
As with most of my spaces, it’s a mix of antiques, thrifted finds, and newer pieces, so I’ve included a “shop the look” as well as an exact source list for you below. I know it’s not the most spacious room, but I feel this little blush nursery is just the right amount of cozy and feminine. What do you think?

You are so sweet, Kristyn. Thank you so so much!
Never saw a babies room quite like it! So feminine. Such a sweet baby!
Thanks, Sandy!
Mind blown! Absolutely perfect. So soothing, practical and beautiful. Well done, Momma! Congratulations on that blessed little angel too!
Kind words, thank you!
Absolutely beautiful! So sweet, just like a baby girl.
I am in love with the color. I have a good friend who painted the ceiling of her bedroom this color. She said it is so calming to see when you are in bed.
Also, love the paper flowers – they add so much!
Thanks, Sandra!
Great job on both the room and the baby! 😉
Thank you!
Cutest. Baby. Ever. Love the little headband. Really nothing more beautiful than a new baby. Like the blush, sweet, and the rug is gorgeous love the flowers. Sorry, for no good reason copper just ruffles my feathers. Do like aged brass. the silver tones, and rusted metals in some places. Also distressed whites and ivories. I have a copper tea kettle I tolerate when I put out all the oranges and fall colors. Still, do totally appreciate people doing what they love. Babies do not need giant rooms. This is a precious room and not all that small. Perfect. Oh my, so opinionated out here!
Yes, copper as an accent is growing on me too. 🙂
The room is gorgeous, your baby is beautiful God bless her!!
Thank you!
Ooooo so pretty…just like Momma and Baby Rosie. Congratulations!
Thanks, Diane!
Absolutely georgeous! Precious Baby and you look great! Thanks for sharing. Congrats Rachel!
Thank you!
I’d love to rock a sweet babe in that room! BABY FEVER!
Anytime. 😉
Rachel, this room is superiorly beautiful! I LOVE everything about it. You did an amazing job and thank you for the wall flower tutorial. I can’t imagine what your daily life must be like but all that you have done in such a short time leaves me speechless, yes, you deserve a lot of grace, TFS.
Ha! Thank you for your encouraging words!
What a sweet room you have provided for your little one. Just adorable!
Thanks!
Love the nursery, very sweet and calming. Baby Rose is just so precious! Congratulations on her arrival. Many blessings.
Thank you Melva!
Theroom is lovely and the baby adorable, but her NAME!… I’ve kept that one on my mental lists for the last few babies. I love the nickname Rosie, and My MIL’s name is Linda, so why not Rosalind? Plus it’s so “princessy” sounding… Well, three MORE boys later (bringing me to a total of 7, plus 2 girls) I still haven’t added a Rosalind, haha! Yours is a sweetie pie with a gorgeous room! Blessings on you all!
Thank you Becky!
Absolutely perfect! I have never seen a prettier nursery!
Thank you for your kind words!
For once I am delighted to see a mom realize that cribs need to be devoid of bumpers and blankets and stuff. I am such a worrier and always wonder what people are thinking. Yours is perfect.
Thanks Helen!
This is so beautiful! I am so jealous of the paper flowers. I have been drooling over them for some time but just can’t seem to come up with a way that would justify to my husband spending this much money on “Paper Flowers”. I am so glad to see them in her princess room!
The texture everywhere makes you want to snuggle into the room and never leave!
Thank you, Glenda!
Wow! Such a beautiful and sophisticated nursery for a beautiful baby. You did a fabulousness job and congratulations on your little one!
Thank you Diane!
This is really beautiful! Love those curtains and the color, my almost 6 yr old now wants this color in her room!
btw, are these curtains the same fabric as the muslin you used in the DIY tutorial? It looks like thicker fabric.
Yes, they are!
It’s a beautiful shade of blush.
Beautiful nursery! Congrats on your new baby girl.
Thank you, Margaret!
This is really lovely! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much Kim!
OH MY GOLLY, Could there be a more beautiful nursery?! Totally magazine worthy. And Rosie is precious. Take care of yourself. Big hugs.
Thanks, Cindy!
This is seriously breathtaking. I want to redo my girls’ nursery now. Her middle name is Rose, so I pretty much want to use every idea on here!
Thanks for the inspiration! You are an amazing decorator.
-Marly
Thank you so much for your kind words Marly!
Love the room! Looking for a woven pendant light for my nursery-in-progress, love the one in your room, where did you find it?
The one I have was sourced locally, but here are some similar looks (affiliate): http://rstyle.me/~iA-a0kss_ and http://rstyle.me/iA-n/cpw8yxb5bux_
Gorgeous, Rachel… and that night-time pic… WOW!
Thank you Julie! 🙂
Rachel! I think Baby Rosie has the most enchanting, peaceful and beautiful nursery I have ever seen! She is also a lucky little baby girl to have a Mommy as creative and talented as you, Rachel. I love the mix of neutrals and blush, I would have NEVER thought to put those together in a nursery. The different textures, curtains, rug, pendant, ottoman play off of each other in an oh so soothing way. I fell in love with the picture of her pendant light illuminating her own little haven. Thank her for sharing her pretty rose print with us. She is adorable!! You and your family have been blessed!
…can’t wait for the upcoming tutorial
Thank you Judy!
did you ever share the color and brand of paint you used in your baby’s nursery? It’s so beautiful!
Hi Mimi! It’s My Sweetheart by Behr.
