Free Printable Valentines Cards: Love in Watercolor

These free printable valentines cards celebrate love in watercolor. Use them to write a note to your loved one or simply to hang on the wall.

I grew up with three brothers. Three.

(And yes, we all shared one bathroom… I prefer not to think about it too often.)

As the only girl, I had a unique position: I learned to play spies, dream of being a firefighter, throw a football, and burp with the best of them.

But I also got to relish my feminine side.

And though I have a little girl now, since my first two were boys, I had a similar experience in my adult home until recently. It encouraged my natural tendency towards neutrals and blues in our home, towards furniture that was neither overtly masculine nor feminine, towards a mixture of rough raw wood and delicate gilded details…

But today, I’m embracing that sensitive side. The sweet, blushing, flowery side.

My daughter has been wearing a thrifted pink princess dress for the last five days; do you think that might have anything to do with it? 😉

But really, Valentines is such a fun time for me to dive head first into the softer side of things, and these little watercolor printables simply scream that to me: delicate florals, sweet sentiments, softer lines…

I think they would make perfect hostess notes, thank you notes, love notes, or “just because” notes. You can even simply frame them for your wall or desk if you like. Or just pin it for later. 😉

    1. You’re so sweet, Jennifer! And if you caught my error (love is a many splendored thing, not splendid!), you can drop back in now and get the corrected version. 😉

    1. Ha! Thanks, Terry. Can I tell you how embarrassed I am?!? I cannot believe that I – a former English teacher – created, printed, photographed, and edited these without noticing. Of course I noticed right as it was time to take my kids to school this morning an hour AFTER it published), and I had to wait until I dropped them all off and got back home to do anything about it. It was torture! Clearly this mama is a little sleep deprived. 😉 They are all fixed now, though, so feel free to drop back in and pick up a copy if you’d like! I even added a bonus larger version to apologize for my mistake.

  1. These are so pretty Rachel!! I love how you combined the ink spatter with the watercolor fleurs! 😉 xo Heather

  2. Rachel, these are so very sweet! And gorgeously photographed with those stunning flowers. My daughter has grown up in a similar environment, being the only girl among 5 cousins. I love how she has grown to be so comfortable interacting with guys and she’s also the best athlete of the crew… 🙂 But she’s also a designer with a feminine side!

    1. Thank you so much, Lory! Sounds like your daughter and I are two peas in a pod. 😉 Thank you so much for organizing this incredible group! xx
