A Simple Christmas Table

A Simple Christmas Table with French and rustic elements.

I shared my dining room in part 2 of my Christmas home tour this year, but as we have a new addition to the dining room (can you spot it?), I couldn’t help but play with setting a pretty little table.

With my reindeer candlesticks and my easy centerpiece (cedar clippings and mercury glass ornaments in a teak bowl)…

And I made these little birch bark wine charms for our recent Christmas party; I think they are the perfect rustic, neutral complement.

Even though we eat most meals at the kitchen table, we spend so much time in here: homeschooling, drawing, playing games…

Though the wine glasses had to be put away after photographs (I have a 1 year old, remember?) the fresh clippings that smell so yummy and the mixtures of wood tones are keeping the room feeling festive yet serene.

And did you see our little Christmas card holder? I’ve been clipping them into the mesh on the front of the china cabinet for the last few years, and it’s one of my favorite things. Where do you put your Christmas cards?

Before I go, I have one quick announcement (which you probably already know if you follow me on Instagram): do you remember last year’s Night Lights Tour? Well I’m so excited to say that this year I will not only be giving you another magical, twinkling tour of my home, but I have 25 other incredibly talented bloggers joining me. So sit back, relax, grab a cup of hot cocoa, and get ready for some gorgeous fairy-light inspiration next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday!

Hope you’re having a beautiful holiday season!
