Celebrating the Little Victories

Sometimes it’s about celebrating the small victories…

Victory #1: I had an impromptu date with Mr. Pax last night. Delicious Italian food. No children. Amazing. (#yayformymotherinlaw)

Victory #2: I have showered this week. Twice. (Did I mention I have three children 4 and under?)

Victory #3: There have been no more 4am (or any other time of the day) new roof leaks this week.

Victory #4: My baby got her 4 month shots yesterday and still slept through the night.

Victory #5: This pillow.

It’s no grand DIY. Nothing spectacular. In fact, it’s so easy that I’m almost embarrassed.

But little victories. That’s what we’re celebrating today, remember?

I started with this Ikea pillow cover. Traced some antlers I found on my computer. Cut out the felt. Glued it on using fabric glue.

I think this DIY antler pillow complements my neutral yet cozy fall decor (find the full tour here) perfectly, don’t you?
