Introducing Baby Juliet…

Though I have several more amazing guests lined up over the next few weeks, I can’t resist showing you the reason why I’m taking some time off… Plus, to celebrate, I’ve added a few whimsical additions to the nursery.

I’ll share more of these adorable banners in a minute, but first… Baby Juliet.

Isn’t she beautiful? And I’m not even a bit biased, naturally.

She’s barely two weeks old, and I think I have 300 pictures, at least. It’s obviously way too much fun to photograph a little girl.

Especially when her nursery has such fabulous natural light.

Speaking of her nursery, don’t you just love these gorgeous handmade banners? My sweet friend Kelle at Crafty Kelle made them for me, and I couldn’t be more pleased.

I love the sophistication of the gray one and the way it compliments the vintage, French touches in the room.

And the mix of greens and browns in the “It’s a Girl” banner are perfect with my burlap wreath.

Hanging them was a matter of convenience, not precision. I merely tied the gray one to the curtain rods and used masking tape for the pink one, hiding the ends above the door and behind the lamp. Perfectly imperfect. 😉

I love it. You can purchase similar ones through Kelle’s website if you’re interested, and if you happen to be local, she does incredible party planning. But enough about decorating… Let’s all give one more collected “Awwwww…..” Shall we?
