Chalkboard Birthday Party
Between finishing out attic remodel and our laundry room overhaul, getting the new nursery ready, and hosting a baby shower for my niece – not to mention being due this Sunday and celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary at the end of this month – WHEW! I don’t even think I can finish that thought… No really, it’s been a very busy spring, but I didn’t want to put my two little men on the back burner because of it. With my little one turning 2 in April and my older one turning 4 in May, we had to have a little celebration.
It was a relaxed afternoon in our backyard, with friends and family just hanging out, playing ball, and enjoying the springtime sunshine.
For invitations, I used a picture of my boys, which I also used to mark the entrance to our gate.
I already shared the chalkboard party hats we made.
And the monogram chalkboard party favors.
Other than that, I incorporated all the little chalkboard accents that I already had and accented them with brightly colored balloons, pom poms, and bouncy balls.
We all had a wonderful time, and I hope you’re able to find some inspiration from these photos… And seeing that I’m writing this post on Mother’s Day, I’m going to go play with my kids and just leave you to enjoy the pictures. Cheers!
very cute! I’m totally on the chalkboard craze wagon right now. 🙂
Haha… you and me both, Becky!
