SIY: Salvage-it-Yourself

Thank you to all of you who encouraged and commiserated with me after my RIY (Ruin-It-Yourself) project. I see a new regular posting series developing out of that term (is it bad that I have enough of those that it could be regular!?!?).

I did want to share a quick update, though. I believe the project has, thankfully, been salvaged. Here is the progress:

Twelve painted frames, screened and ready to be affixed to our vents. The painters tape is just to keep the delicate joints secure until the covers are in place (once attached, they’ll be fine).

So thank you to all my readers and visitors for you unconditional support of this certified RIYer. May we all progress one project at a time into the SIY category. 😉
