Thankful Thursday #1: the playroom
The astute among you will notice that I title this #1. That is not a promise to continue these necessarily… but I don’t think it would hurt. I can’t imagine how many people have already capitalized on the alliteration of “Thankful Thursday;” I refuse to google it to find out. I simply hope to remind my heart of a few things.
First, I am thankful for the 3,859 marks, scratches, and dings in the coffee table top:
because each one represents a car raced and crashed, a tower built and smashed, a drum played, a figure made to dance…
And I’m thankful for the chalk handprints:
because each one represents a masterpiece, an image brought to life, a creative seed watered…
May I always be thankful for the imperfections.
