1 Day to 1 Year Pictures
I just wanted to share a quick something I recently did for Littler Pax’s birthday party that I thought was really fun (and the guests loved it, too!):
They were so simple, personal, cheap, and classy – perfect for our backyard barbecue. I found two frames I had with two 4×6 openings each. I then found two photos when Littler Pax was one day old (from pictures I had taken at the hospital) and two from his first birthday. Since his party was the day after his birthday, I actually took some pictures on his birthday and simply printed those out the morning of the party. Any recent pictures would do, though, of course.
I then cut out some labels from this chalkboard contact paper: Commercial Chalkboard Contact Paper, Black, 18 Inches x 6 Feet (using this shape cutter: EK Success Tools Punch, Real Estate Sign – I love these for labeling all sorts of things!) and stuck them right on top of the glass. I could have put them inside the frame, but I didn’t want to ruin the mats. This way, they were temporary but looked great for the party:
Total cost: less than $1. And, like I said, the guests at the party loved looking at them and discussing how he had grown and changed in just one short year. It goes by so fast!!!
