I cannot believe it’s March.
And Easter is just around the corner…
Most of you probably know that we moved to this home about 8 months ago, so this will be our first spring here.
I can’t wait.
The previous owners were avid (and amazingly talented!) gardeners, and our huge yard really is just gorgeous (I can say that because I’m not the one who created it 😉 ). It was even beautiful in the winter, but it definitely took on a different look.
As I was wandering through the sparser winter garden, I noticed this little statue poking through the rosemary. I hadn’t seen him (yes, I’ve decided it’s a him… we’re calling him Peter) before because of the full plants, but winter’s bare branches revealed his sweet little head.
And since I think the best way to decorate for spring is to bring the outdoors in… to celebrate the beautiful of new birth and life… I thought he should come in, too.
I piled him in a tobacco basket with some dried eucalyptus and called it done.
Ten two minute decorating.
